Happy Thanksgiving!
The girls and I got into the crafty Thanksgiving spirit making a poster, some hand traced turkeys and turkey bread-the feet got lost while baking. It was very fun!

We love making Cute Dolls!
This is a squirrel that I did with my daughter from THE CUTE BOOK by Aranzi Aronzo like 2 years ago. She remembered it recently and wanted to make some more so I want to share what we made. I will do the cutting because kiddo scissors don't work so well on felt and she pretty much takes over from there with the sewing. i have to the thread the needle. but she loves it as you will see.... The butterfly heart one she completely designed herself. Here is a link to the site of the guys who made the book that inspired us so: aranzi aronzo

Handmade Ponytail Holders
Made these pony tail holders to give away at my daughters 6th birthday party. The band is made of a strethcy jelly bracelet material found in the hair accessory aisle. I cut a flower shape and circle with felt and chose a colorful button and attached the flower by sewing through and around the button over the band. Can be used as a bracelet too! I also made a couple for the gentlemen at the party with little octopus and crab flat plastic shapes by sewing the embroidery thread through the eyes. Sounds gruesome, but they were cute!

Five Dollar Book Shelf
This was a project that just cost me $5 for a vinyl gutter. I sawed it in half and screwed it into the studs with washers on either side of our big front window. It was such a happy accident that it fit perfectly after cutting it in two. It showcases our library and the girls are constantly using it.
